Another grand time on the links...
Stacy led us off with the first shot of the day on the opening par 3 to about 15 feet. This got a "great shot" over the loud speaker from the proshop and we were off.
John Sweeney and Dan Vordale were our big skin winners, stealing $40 bucks each. John finished both nines with net birdies and carded the only par on the difficult par 3 ninth. He also had a gross birdie on #10 that was short lived and matched by Michael Scott in the group behind.

Dan after a long 2+ hour drive from Lompoc, hopped out of his car and understandably found himself in the graveyard off the first hole... twice! Dan quickly dug himself out, dusted off, and procured a few skins that included a gross birdie/net eagle on #16!
Erik Beer and the former teaching pro Willy Schlick both hit it to kick-in birdie distance on #13. Willy winning the exchange with a net eagle. Willy can thank Martin's "new-to-hickory 20% + 4 strokes formula" for that one!
A big thanks to all for participating and the accommodating staff at Pacific Grove. We'll do this again next spring.
